The spring is one of the most important parts of an airsoft gun. The spring is the part that most affects the muzzle energy of the gun and the initial velocity of the projectile.

The so-called steel wire, alloyed with silicon and chromium, is primarily made for electric airsoft guns (AEG).

In a common AEG gun you can increase the power to about 120 m/s (0.2g BB)
