An airsoft battery is an electrical energy source used to power electric airsoft guns. Electric airsoft guns include the AEG (Automated Electric Gun) type of gun, which is powered by electric motors and uses electrical energy to drive the firing mechanism.

Airsoft batteries are usually rechargeable Lithium-Poly (LiPo) or Nickel-Metal Hydride (NiMH) batteries that are durable and efficient. These batteries can come in different sizes and capacities depending on the type of airsoft gun being used and how many shots are needed on a single charge.

Airsoft batteries are usually the weapon they are located in the shoulder rest or forebrain and feed the gun's electric motor, which is responsible for operating the firing mechanism. When playing airsoft games, players usually carry spare batteries with them to ensure the continuous operation of their guns during the game.

For LiPo and LiIon batteries, the following cases are not considered normal conditions of use:
- Discharge of one or more cells of a LiPo and LiIon battery (10% or less) - in this case the battery may be destroyed
- LiPo and LiIon battery storage for a longer period of time (more than 4-5 days) fully charged - in this case the battery can "pop" and go to waste
- In the case of LiPo and LiIon batteries, if the battery is left plugged into the weapon, it may completely discharge and thus the battery may be destroyed. We recommend disconnecting the battery from the electric weapon (or other consumer) after each use.
- In the case of replicas with a mosfet, be sure to disconnect the replica from the weapon, as the mosfet is considered a continuous consumer, so it drains the battery and destroys it (e.g. Ares factory Mosfet replicas)
- Only smart chargers (lipo charging function) and other LiPo and LiIon chargers are suitable for charging LiPo and LiIon batteries (not factory NIMH chargers)
- We recommend disconnecting the battery from the electric weapon (or other consumer) after each use.
